As we all know on May 2,2016 Shafter High had brought in two buses where you can donate blood at. So many Shafter High students were proud to sign up and donate blood! Many of them were first timers as well as myself. I had sometime to spare while I waited to be called in next to donate some of my blood. I took the time to interview some of my fellow classmates. One of them was Samantha Valenzuela, I asked her how she felt about the blood drive? She responded, ” It felt amazing to be able to help other people in need. Not only is it helping other people, but as well as our school. Our school can be recognized and it’ll get people to be motivated to help others in need!” The blood drive was worth it even though some of us fainted.
