At the beginning of the year, Shafter High’s Sculpture class started with a toilet paper roll from the wasco-0middle and cut out any shape or design they wanted too. Then they did a small cardboard piece where you were to make your own little village and paint it. After that, they started doing small cats for
Shafter/Wasco week. Teachers hides them all over the school and if you find one you get to keep it. Last week, they were working on three human size cats; one for our rally, another to burn at the night rally, and the last one for the football game this coming Friday. Now, they’re making masks that they get to keep. masksThose are the only projects that they have done so far, but are planning to do many more.
